A thoroughly modern midden

I feel it quite appropriate that my first post should be rubbish - or perhaps more precisely, about rubbish!
Whilst perambulating in Norwich, with a magnificently tweed clad, fine upstanding Gentleman, we happened upon a collection of modern detritus.
We cogitated, ruminated, deliberated and generally concurred, that nothing changes!

  1. Perhaps Bottle Hills, rather than Butter Hills... snark snark!

  2. Nice post, but who are you? Also who is the fella in the picture. Mrs Many Coats swears blind that it's Ray Winstone, but I don't concur.

It's just as well that I have spotted your omission before the Contributions Sec. did, if not black balls for you. Even a sepia tone would not have saved you!

P.S it is a fine piece of evidence that illustrates perfectly that we are no different to people from long, long ago. Saying that, at least James Lowe had the decency to bury his necessaries!

  3. A thoroughly modern midden indeed! It's not as if these plastic bottles are biodegradable either. Thadeus, you are talking rubbish - but well Sir!

    Mr Many Coats
Thank you sir for the warning of dark sphericals.
However the clue is indeed in the title. It is none other than Julie Andrews!

  5. My dear Esotericus, I bow to your knowledge of rubbish and feel humbled you have bestowed upon me the wisdom of your dustbin. I thank you sir.
