Live update: here we are in the village of Martham, at the annual Scarecrow Festival. As you can see, there are scarecrows everywhere - and we're scared!

  3. I have also been mistaken for a woman by one of my children's school teachers and an ice cream man in his van. I was not in his van, I was outside and on both occasions I had a beard! I wonder if female Woodwose have beards?

    I did note that, whilst walking around the village, I noted the presence of a good cohort of corvids. The crows were definitely not scared. Would this be the case, I wonder, if they saw you shambling along?
