  1. I didn't realise St. Wahtshisname's had a close. OK, I'll have another try:
1 The Close, St. Whatshisname, Norfolk?

  4. A grand edifice has this tower, which suggests to me a place of some importance. The large Norfk sky also points to a possible Coastal location.

    Am I right?

  5. Honourable Shipden Mawther, unfortunately the said sweet and shilling are unfortunately inextricably linked and cannot be separated..

  6. Dearest RJ ,your powers of deduction and reasoning stagger me sir! Your knowledge knows no bounds. It is indeed a Coastal location. Sir, the cough sweet and shilling are indeed quivering with excitement in the thought that they may be with you very shortly!

Well ent that what I sed. You dont get much more coastal than Shipden, do you? Being' as its under the Sea. I'll have the cough sweet as well in that case.

  8. Forgive my ignorance but I had forgotten that Shipden was indeed where it once was but is no longer. I shall have to find another gift of such proportions that acknowledges your endeavours.. Would you be satisfied with a bag full of broken shredded wheat?

  9. My dearest Thadeus,

I fear that thou arsed experiencing one of your 'episodes' again. Please, I beseech thee, do not be so profligate with thine wheat-based cereals. I remember the distress which thee experienced following thy distribution of thine corn-based breakfast products back in the day... I counsel thee, therefore, to retain a goodly stock of thy cereals or thou may be left lamenting over spilt milk - and an empty bowl!

I thought you promised never to mention the said episode. I fear the truth will out and be cast against me, I am shamed!

  13. I fear there is just too much coast to choose from in Norfolk. This is in part due to the fact that in the early 18th century Norfolk began to unravel when a wayward coal barge accidentally snagged itself on Blakeney point and continued in a South Easterly direction many miles before the unraveling was noticed and someone gave chase on the coastal path waving his arms in a furious manner.

  14. Bacton perhaps? I can smell the gas you see. Either that or its Sea Palling? Its definitely not Hemsby, because I have it on good authority that Hemsby Church was airlifted to safety when the dunes collapsed during the great storm of 62. Alas the stropes broke and it was left floundering in the middle of Halvergate Marshes. It can still be seen there when the wind is in the right direction.
