Pernickerty Disputations Concerning Church Water Storage Solutions

Imagine our excitement, if you will, upon sighting this -  a fantastic galvinised water storage tank at a location in South Norfolk (which we are unable to disclose due to security considerations!). Before one could say,
"Goolie The Heritage Cat," we were on it!

One feature in particular caught our attention...
"It appears to be a Champion Outlet Ammended!" screamed Thadeus, at such a high pitch the dogs from surrounding farms began to bark, distantly.
"Nonsense Thadeus!" exclaimed Bulwer-Rant. "It's clearly a Fairbrace Brace Disjointure Junction."

In a state of the utmost perplexation, the antiquarians decided to refer to the standard reference work for Church Water Storage Solutions; namely, Ryan Bryan's classic work, "The Hydro Logic of External Ecclesiastical Water Storage Vessels: Towards a Typology" (1952).

Despite some pernickery disputations, which lasted until twilight the following day, Members were still unable to agree on a classification of this obviously important feature...

Members, reflecting...

  1. Could I take this opportunity of making my 'There butt for the grace of God' joke a second time?

    1. I'll take that as a 'no', then. Carry on.

    2. Now now Tom, don't sulk! Members of the Ragged Society of Antiquarian Ramblers are much occupied with all manner of responsibilities and duties (historic dust collecting; pipe tapping &c), and so sometimes take our time to respond.

Now that I find the time to consider your punification, I find myself amused, yes... not moved to laughter, perhaps; but, nonetheless, ticklified.

      Huzzah!
