A Loveliness of Ladybirds


Huddled together in a cobwebby corner, a loveliness of ladybirds, seeking sanctuary from the gathering chill outside the church... and they are there still....

    They are lovely. There are no more I know of over here; killed by pesticides and replaced by a horrid asian beetle. Progress, I'm sure.

    I feel very sorry for you that you cannot enjoy the loveliness of a "Bishy Barnaby" (a colloquial name for the ladybird), sad....
