Bletchley Park - Where Brains Saved Lives

Ragged Ramblers recently visited the historic Bletchley Park site. Here are some of the images taken on what proved to be a fascinating and poignant visit. The highlight of our visit was getting to talk to one of the veterans who worked here during the war. Now well into her 90s she was very humble about her contribution, but said that there was a terrific sense of community among the people dedicated to cracking the enemy codes. Due to their enlightened pricing policy (through which the ticket price entitles visitors to a return as many times as they wish within a one year period) we will be returning to a place where high-octane brain power saved millions of lives.
