An Antiquarian leg up

With the constant ramblings enjoyed, some of our esteemed colleagues tend to wear out the bodily parts rather rapidly and have to frequent the house of repair every now and then.
One such gentleman, and esquire, is partaking of the services this very day having his lower left appendage lengthened to meet the measurement of the other, after wearing it down walking in circles.
We of the Society wish him fair speed in recovery and tantalise his taste buds with promise of tea, cake and laughter. Huzzah!

  2. The said appendage is the right limb. Years of Empire service gave me an eye for such things, having seen many a limb scattered in the wake of a training ground 'incident'. Does one have to be dead to make sense in these parts!
