It was a bit special! Ragged Ramblers are increasingly interested in life around a church, including the nature and habitat. We were perambulating the churchyard around St Nicholas church, Dilham, when we noticed these lovely dried plant spires rising from between the Victorian table-top tombs. If you enlarge the photograph and look at the summit of the plant on the top left hand corner (as you face it), you will see a dragonfly. In fact, there were lots of them dotted around, perching perfectly still like other-worldy weathervanes. We thought they made a wonderful sight, and, thus, decided to capture an image to share with you here...
Wonderful!
Awesome!!
